Education Is The Key To A Better Future

Windy Born in Haiti, in a modest earthen house with wooden slats, epitomizing rustic authenticity. The three stone firepits in our local kitchen were central to preparing traditional meals, symbolizing a life intertwined with nature and rich cultural traditions, and first exposure to vodou.
At the age of 17 in 2010, despite being a victim of the earthquake that struck his right arm, Windy Gelin felt the need to help. Just 2 days later the catastrophe, he took charge of 62 scouts for three months, assisting as a rescuer. This experience awakened his sense of humanity and philanthropy. Two years later, he began a series of mobilization actions to obtain scholarships to facilitate young people’s education.
Among the beneficiaries, there is Jean Yvens Gelin, who now feels how these scholarships help him in his life project; and Windy too, helping from a cousin to finish high school, they decided to create this huge project to do more than anybody else for the poorest of poor child in Haiti.
